this is he inside of our school's alumni center. on campus(well, by me and some people i know), it's commonly referred to as the "death star." but the inside is actually really cool. this picture came out a little darker than i would have liked, but, such is life, right? oh well. move on and gain experience with every new picture.

aaron's wasted
so this night had been going along really well. we were over at neil's apartment and all having a good time, some of us more than others. aaron got fucked up, and he was force fed almost a quarter of a french silk pie. haha!

k-lab
caleb is my friend grace's boyfriend. i've only met him twice, but every time, he's made a good impression. but, there's more tho this than just the basic fact that he's a nice guy. apparently when caleb and grace started going out, she told him that if he didn't make a good impression with me, that the relationship didn't look good. so, ever since then, he's been a little intimidated of me, which makes me laugh. but it's a good thing he's a nice guy.

realist abstraction
I saw this possible shot a couple days ago, but i was unfortunate not to have my camera with me. and the next day was snowing and overcast, so another day was lost. i finally had my wits about me to remember to bring my camera with me, and lo and behold, today was perfect. i love this shot for obvious reasons. most of all the fact that this is an actual photograph, but it is very abstracted due only to the fact of the focal point.

nadie and bruce
this is my friend nadie holding our ban'd mascot, bruce. i got bruce at a thrift shop for $1.50. he is with us at all our shows. we love him and the crowd loves him. i hope we never become distant friends, but that we are friends forever. oh and nadie too, of course.

photobooth
i know that this one deviates from the purist train of thought when it comes to polaroid photography, but i can explain. to me the inherent joy in polaroid photography is the instant gratification in an analogue medium. now photobooths offer exactly that in a nostalgic manner, never capable of being captured in the same fashion by high-tech color, digital photobooths. so even if you don't agree with me, i still hope you enjoy this film strip as much as i do.

me
seeing as polaroid a day has been here for a while, and i have yet to post a picture of me, i felt that today was a perfect opportunity. so, this is pretty much the most badass picture of me ever taken. hopefully, i can find time in my schedule to a) take more pictures of all sorts of things, and b) update this blog actually everyday. i know i haven't been the most diligent when it comes to it, but that should change.
